The Black Box
Looking at the shadows themselves, before seeing an object sparks an incredible sense of mystery. It provokes imagination and intrique, instantly. The shadows cast on a surface, complex or simple give the object a more real feel. They connect the viewer to the space and surroundings. Each of the drawings, photos or watercolours force some sort of emotion, i think the shadows play a big role in this.
The project is very unique with the chosen layout. It is just so effective down to the last, final detail. So many elements, obviously created in a number of programs, have been combined to give the desired effect.
In my own design, i am trying to achieve similar effects by creating shadows, by adjusting the position and qualities of light, that further connect the clients with the space i have created.
